This is Charlie our herd sire's brother and buddy. He is still intact although we have never used him. He's always just been a buddy. Charlie is the nicest guy. He loves to be around you and is so easy to work with. He is not registered but has wonderful milking and show lines. UTD on everything very easy keeper. I need to make room in the buck pen so it's time for him to move on.
Chocolate and white
Please check back for updated availability. More babies are on the way in February 2024!
It’s so exciting to find that perfect new addition to add to your herd or start a herd. When you choose our goats we require a non-refundable deposit of $100 via cash, money order or PayPal , unless the animal dies or suffers permanent injury before it has left our farm. This will ensure we will hold that animal for you until the time of pick up. Remainder of the payment will be due upon pick up via CASH ONLY. When pickup date has been decided between the buyer and seller and the seller does not abide by the pick up time and does not come to pick up the animal we will give a 24 hour time frame to be able to reschedule. If we the sellers do not hear from the buyer within that time frame they will be denying the sales policy and forfeiting the right to buy the animal. The animal will be listed for sale again.
These little ones will receive the best care here at our farm. All kids will have their C D&T vaccines, wormed and health checked by our vet before they leave our farm. Because shipping is stressful and we cannot control that stress or the care of the animal(s) receives once it leaves our farm, we cannot offer any further guarantees related to the health of the animal. Illness and death can occur when not properly handled and treated. We will not be responsible for any death, stress or illness of any animal once it has left our farm. We are not under obligation to take any animal back once it has left our property.
Please come prepared with proper transportation! Goats especially kids do not do well in windy conditions. If you have an open dog crate in the back of your truck please bring materials to cover the crate when you pick up your goat to reduce the wind. We are NOT responsible for any types or signs of sickness and illness when you leave our property. We reserve the right to refuse any animal if proper transportation needs are not met.
When kids are sold while still on the bottle the buyer understands that ALL responsibilities of properly caring for their newly acquired kids falls on them. If something happens to the kids in the buyer’s care (or in a transporter's care), Flourishing Tree Farms will not be held responsible in any way.
The only guarantee given for kids being sold on bottles is that they are accustomed to taking a bottle.
When kids are sold dam raised and have been weaned the buyer understands that ALL responsibilities of properly caring for their newly acquired kids falls on them. If something happens to the kids in the buyer’s care (or in a transporter’s care), Flourishing Tree Farms will not be held responsible in any way.
The only guarantee given for kids being sold dam raised and weaned is they are accustomed to eating hay (Alfalfa, orchard grass, or Bermuda) are offered here at the farm), grain, (Kalmbach Start Right Young Goat), water and loose minerals.
We maintain a clean herd. Our entire herd is tested annually for CAE, Johnes and CL this was done March 2023 by our vet. Any new animal that comes onto the farm goes into quarantine until that animal has been tested negative and is cleared of any health issues.
Goats are herd animals and will require a “buddy” in order to be happy and healthy. We at Flourishing Tree Farms will not sell a single goat if there is not another goat at its new home.
All of our kids will be sold with ADGA registration papers. We reserve the right to sell a buck kid(s) as pets to be wethered therefore we will retain registration papers. All registered stock will be free from disqualifying faults.
Flourishing Tree Farms reserves the right to retain any kid born on our farm for our herd. We reserve the right NOT to do business or refuse a kid with any one for any reason. We can not guarantee the show career, milk production or mature height of any animal.
Once a goat is considered and agreed upon a copy of this sales policy and a bill of sale will require a signature from the buyers before leaving the farm. All of our kids are sold with current health records.
Thank you for considering Flourishing Trees Farms for your next dairy goat!!
